Jan/Feb Weds evening pottery course

This 6-week pottery course is suitable for all levels and takes place in a small loft studio in central Brighton. Classes are limited to seven people, allowing for lots of one-to-one tuition. The course introduces fundamental principles of hand-building, including pinch pots, coiling techniques, and the use of soft and hard slabs. Students can also experiment with a range of glazes and decoration techniques. For those with some pottery experience, the course offers the opportunity to work on individual projects. An optional extra throwing session is available in the 7th week. The course price includes use of clay, glazes, underglazes, and slips, but firing costs are charged separately. Each student can book one catch-up class per term.
