Lost something at a Hidden Beach event? We’ll do our best to help reunite you with your belongings.

If you are still at the event

Please speak to a member of Hidden Beach staff, security or a steward as soon as possible.

If your item has already been handed in, we may be able to return it to you during the event.

After the event

If you realise you've lost something after leaving, email:

Please include as much information as possible:

• The event you attended
• The date of the event
• A detailed description of the item
• Where you think you may have lost it
• Any identifying features that will help us confirm it belongs to you
• Your name and contact details

For valuable items such as phones, wallets, purses, keys or jewellery, please don't include sensitive information such as passwords, PINs or full bank card details.

Collecting your property

If we believe we have your item, we'll contact you to arrange collection or another suitable method of returning it.

We may ask you to provide information or identification that demonstrates the item belongs to you before it is released.

Any postage or delivery costs may need to be paid by the owner.

How long do we keep lost property?

Where practical, unclaimed lost property will normally be kept for 28 days after the event.

After this period, unclaimed items may be donated, recycled or responsibly disposed of as appropriate.

For hygiene, safety or practical reasons, some items may need to be disposed of sooner, including perishable food and drink.

Bank cards and identification

Bank cards, driving licences, passports and other official documents may be dealt with differently from ordinary lost property. Where appropriate, they may be passed to the issuing organisation, relevant authority or police rather than retained by Hidden Beach.

Lost phones

If you've lost a phone, please give us its make, model, colour, case or other distinguishing features.

Please do not send us your passcode.

We may ask you to demonstrate that you can unlock the device or otherwise establish ownership when collecting it.

Found something?

If you find an item during an event, please hand it to a member of Hidden Beach staff, security or a steward rather than keeping it yourself.

Personal belongings

Visitors remain responsible for looking after their own belongings while attending Hidden Beach events.

While we'll make reasonable efforts to record, store and return property handed to us, Hidden Beach cannot guarantee that lost items will be found or handed in and cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
