Ticketing Terms

These terms apply to tickets and free registrations for events organised by Hidden Beach Organisation CIC (“Hidden Beach”, “we” or “us”). They apply whether you book through the Hidden Beach website or through Eventbrite.

1. Your booking

The event listing and checkout show the date, venue, ticket type, price and any booking fees. Please check these details before placing your order.

Your booking is confirmed when you receive a ticket or booking confirmation from the checkout you used. Keep it available for entry. A ticket provides only the admission or other benefits described in its listing. Travel, accommodation, food and drink are not included unless expressly stated.

An event may have additional rules, such as age limits, timed entry or conditions for a concession ticket. We will show these before you book. If an event-specific rule differs from these general terms, the event-specific rule applies to that event.

2. Where you booked

If you booked on the Hidden Beach website, use the contact details in your confirmation for help with your order.

If you booked through Eventbrite, Eventbrite will provide your ticket and order record. You can use your Eventbrite order to request a refund or contact Hidden Beach about the event. Eventbrite’s terms also apply to your use of its platform.

Please tell us your event name and order number when contacting us. Buying through Eventbrite does not remove your rights concerning an event organised by Hidden Beach.

3. Prices and payment

The total price, including any mandatory fees charged through the checkout, will be shown before you pay. Prices and fees may differ between ticket types, sales periods and booking platforms.

An optional donation or extra will be identified separately. It will be added only if you choose it.

4. If you cannot attend

Tickets for an event on a specified date are not automatically refundable because you change your mind or can no longer attend. The usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right does not generally apply to dated leisure events.

An event listing may offer a more generous refund option. If it does, the conditions and deadline shown before purchase will apply. Your legal rights if Hidden Beach cancels or materially changes the event are unaffected.

If you hold a free ticket and can no longer attend, please cancel it through the booking platform so someone else can use the place.

5. If Hidden Beach cancels the event

If we cancel an event, we will tell ticket holders as soon as reasonably possible. Buyers will be entitled to a refund for the event that is not taking place, in accordance with their legal rights. We may offer a replacement event or credit, but you do not have to accept it instead of a refund.

We will explain how to obtain the refund through the checkout used for the original purchase.

6. If Hidden Beach postpones or changes the event

If we move an event to a new date, your ticket will normally remain valid for that date. We will tell you the new details. If the change is material and you do not wish to attend, you may request a refund in accordance with your legal rights.

We will also explain your options if we materially change the venue or another central part of the event you booked. Minor changes to a running order, programme or supporting acts do not automatically entitle you to a refund.

7. Refund requests

For an Eventbrite order, submit your request through Eventbrite’s refund-request process or contact Hidden Beach with your order number. For a Hidden Beach website order, contact us using the details in your booking confirmation.

We will respond to refund requests promptly and explain our decision. An approved refund will normally be returned through the original payment channel. The time taken for funds to reach you may depend on the payment provider.

Nothing in these terms limits a refund or other remedy required by law.

8. Transfers and resale

Hidden Beach does not provide a ticket name-change or transfer service as standard. Please check the event listing before giving a ticket to someone else, especially where admission depends on age, identity or eligibility for a particular ticket type.

Buying a ticket from an unauthorised seller carries a risk that it is invalid, duplicated or misdescribed. Hidden Beach will not automatically cancel a valid ticket merely because it has been offered for resale or resold where doing so would be contrary to law.

9. Entry and behaviour

You may be asked to show your ticket, booking confirmation, proof of age or evidence that you qualify for a concession. Each ticket or entry code can be used only once.

Please follow reasonable instructions from event staff about safety, access and conduct. We may refuse or end entry if a ticket is invalid or fraudulent, an age or eligibility condition is not met, or a person presents a genuine safety risk or seriously disrupts the event. Any refund decision will take account of the circumstances and your legal rights.

Rules about children, re-entry, prohibited items and other venue arrangements will be stated in the event information or communicated before the event.

10. Accessibility

Please contact Hidden Beach as early as possible if you have an access question or require a reasonable adjustment. We will explain the arrangements for the particular venue and event.

11. Event information and personal data

We use your booking details to administer entry and send essential information, including notice of a cancellation or change. If you book through Eventbrite, it also processes your details under its own privacy notice. Hidden Beach’s Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data.

12. Our responsibility

We will organise the event with reasonable care and skill. Unless the law requires otherwise, we are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other arrangements you buy separately.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply to you.
