Hidden Beach events take place in different venues and outdoor spaces. The layout, facilities and arrangements can change from one event to another, even when we return to the same location.

Start with the page for the event you’re attending. It will give you the confirmed venue, date, times and any arrangements specific to that event. You should also check the venue’s own website where available, particularly for directions, accessibility and facilities.

Getting there

Before travelling, check the venue address and entrance shown on your event information. The event entrance may differ from a venue’s usual entrance.

Consider your route by public transport, on foot, by bike or by car. If you plan to drive, check nearby parking, charges, restrictions and how far the car park is from the entrance. Parking at or immediately beside a venue should not be assumed. For outdoor events, check whether surrounding roads or access routes will be affected.

Accessibility

Access varies between venues. If you need step-free entry, accessible toilets, seating, space for a wheelchair, a quieter area or help with a particular access requirement, check the event information and the venue’s own guidance before you travel.

If anything is unclear, contact us in advance. Tell us which event you’re attending and what you need to know so we can check the arrangements for that venue and event.

Facilities and what to bring

Check what facilities will be available, including toilets, seating, shelter, food and drink, and places to refill water. Some events take place outdoors, where the ground, weather and available shelter may affect your visit. Dress for the conditions and check the event information for any restrictions on items you can bring.

Food and drink arrangements may also vary. Some events have their own traders or bar, while others use the venue’s facilities.

Entry and event rules

Your event page will explain whether you need a ticket or booking, when doors open and whether there are age restrictions or other entry conditions. Venue rules may cover bags, outside food and drink, smoking, dogs and re-entry. Check the information for your event before arriving.

Follow signs and instructions from venue staff, stewards and the event team on the day. Keep entrances, exits and access routes clear.

Traders, performers and event teams

If you are trading, performing, supplying or working at an event, your arrival arrangements may differ from those for visitors. Check the information sent to you for your arrival time, access point, loading and unloading arrangements, parking, allocated space and any documents or equipment you need to bring.

Do not assume that you can leave a vehicle on site, use a particular entrance or access power, water, storage or shelter unless this has been confirmed for your booking. If you have a setup requirement, raise it with your Hidden Beach contact before the event.
