Double Bill: Tell Me Straight & Aggy

This double bill features two plays, Tell Me Straight and Aggy, which offer a candid portrayal of modern queer life in London. Tell Me Straight follows Him, who has a long line of hookups with straight men, and his journey to change his ways. Aggy explores the relationship between Lawrence and Mahlik, who face uncomfortable truths when Mahlik suggests that Lawrence present as an alter ego to secure more opportunities. Both plays trace how people shape themselves under the pressure of relationships, with wit and emotional honesty. The double bill is directed by Paul Bradshaw, with design by Olivier-nominated Damien Stanton, lighting by OFFIE-winner Cheng Keng, sound by BBTA-winner Eamonn O’Dwyer, and video by Stage Award shortlisted Matt Powell. Age guidance is 16+ and content warnings include strong language, depictions of violence, scenes of a sexual nature, discussions of racism, gender and discrimination, flashing lights, and haze.
