Oh, Mary! is an uproariously dark comedy about a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Unrequited yearning, alcoholism, and suppressed desires abound in this 80-minute one-act play that finally examines the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs. Lincoln, through the lens of an idiot (playwright Cole Escola). The Olivier Award winner for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play, Oh, Mary! has now extended through to June 2027. See Lolly Adefope taking on the role of Mary from 28 September – 5 December 2026, with Jane Krakowski returning to the role of Mary in London’s West End from 7 December 2026 - 16 January 2027. Casting post January 16 will be announced soon. The production features water-based haze and one single gunshot, and is suitable for ages 14+.
