CSF 2026: The Tapestry

Canterbury, autumn 1065. As the ‘saintly’ King Edward lies dying, the mood in Hilda’s mead hall is dark. Behind the scenes, Queen Edith schemes with corrupt clerics to save herself – and thwart the ambitions of her hated brother Harold. A new play by Stewart Ross. Presented by Canterbury Shakespeare Festival, in conjunction with the Canterbury Commemoration Society.
