Mark Thomas: 40 Years in Stand-up

Mark Thomas has been performing comedy for 40 years, winning numerous awards for his work in comedy and human rights. He has made several TV series, written books and play scripts, and has been involved in various other projects, including walking around the Israel Wall in the West Bank and campaigning for trade union recognition. His new show is a taster menu of government and personal mayhem, jokes, rants, and a personal state of the nation broadcast. The show is expected to be a cogent hour of stand-up, with a strong ratio of hard-hitting matter to gag-rich mirth. Mark Thomas is known for being a firebrand of a clown, bringing infectious energy to the room and being very, very funny.
