CMC: The Sacconi Quartet at 25

The Sacconi Quartet, comprising Ben Hancox, Hannah Dawson, Robin Ashwell, and Cara Berridge, have been together for 25 years. They have had a distinguished career, working with great artists and commissioning significant UK composers. The quartet has also inspired and coached many young professional players through the Sacconi Academy and at the RCM. Three of the quartet play on Simone Sacconi instruments. The Sacconi Quartet at 25 will bring Canterbury Music Club’s 85th Anniversary celebrations to a conclusion with a programme including a new quartet by Freda Waley-Cohen and Beethoven late quartets.
