A Dream Adoption Society: Project Solaris

Inspired by Stanisław Lem’s classic novel, SOLARIS is an experimental performance and installation project exploring the encounter with a radically non-human intelligence. Rather than a conventional adaptation, the project treats Lem’s ocean as a responsive system: an environment that observes, remembers and generates presences from human traces. Developed through research and workshop, SOLARIS will investigate how immersive technologies, AI, virtual scenography and live performance can create a space where memory, projection and agency become unstable. Led by Krzysztof Garbaczewski, with dramaturgical collaboration from Rébecca Pierrot.
