Explore Project Solaris at Gulbenkian Arts Centre

On Thursday, 29 April 2027, the Gulbenkian Arts Centre in Canterbury will host A Dream Adoption Society's Project Solaris, an experimental performance and installation project that runs until Saturday, 1 May 2027.

What is Project Solaris about? Project Solaris is inspired by Stanisław Lem's classic novel SOLARIS and explores the encounter with a radically non-human intelligence, treating Lem's ocean as a responsive system that observes, remembers, and generates presences from human traces.

Who is behind this project? The project is led by Krzysztof Garbaczewski, with dramaturgical collaboration from Rébecca Pierrot, and has been developed through research and workshops to investigate the intersection of immersive technologies, AI, virtual scenography, and live performance.
