The Bug Club Bring Garage Rock

The Bug Club's fourth album, Very Human Features, is a testament to their ability to craft lyrically sharp and sonically playful garage rock records. • The band's origins in Caldicot, Monmouthshire, and their formation in 2016 by brothers Sam and Ross Willmett and Tilly Harris, laid the foundation for their unique sound. • Their debut single, "We Don't Need Room For Loving", released in 2021, marked the beginning of a prolific output that has seen them release several EPs and albums, including Green Dream In F# and Rare Birds: Hour Of Song. • The band's signing to Sub Pop and the release of On the Intricate Inner Workings of the System in 2024, further cemented their reputation as a hyper-prolific duo with a knack for crafting infectious, riff-driven songs.

The Bug Club's music is characterized by its witty lyrics, often focusing on everyday life and local references, and their ability to blend different genres, from rubbery post-punk to DIY garage-rock.
