Literary Lyrics from London Duo
Flyte, a London-based duo, bring their unique sound to Margate's Where Else? in November, with a repertoire that explores love, relationships, and literary references. Their music is a testament to the power of storytelling through song.
On Monday, 2 November 2026, Flyte will be performing at Where Else? in Margate, showcasing their distinctive blend of crafted and often confessional songwriting. The duo, comprised of Will Taylor and Nick Hill, met at a city-run youth theatre company aged 10 and 13, and have been active since 2013.
• Their debut album, The Loved Ones, was widely acclaimed and explored people's struggles to process love. • The self-titled 2023 album, recorded with Andrew Sarlo at Konk Studios, features collaborations with artists like Laura Marling and Bombay Bicycle Club. • Their fourth studio album, Between You and Me, was released in August 2025 via Nettwerk Music Group, and was produced by Ethan Johns in his rural studio.
Flyte's music is known for its literary references, with the band's name inspired by Sebastian Flyte of Evelyn Waugh's Brideshead Revisited. Their songs often explore themes of love and relationships, with a unique stylistic touch that ranges from Serge Gainsbourg to Elliott Smith. Tickets are with the button beside the article, and the performance will run until Monday, 30 November 2026 at 23:00 at Where Else? in Margate.
