Eastbourne Exhibition

Visitors to the Discover, Celebrate, Grow exhibition will see a projected map of the Ward, marking the places researchers explored, as well as a new alphabet for the Ward built from found letters. The exhibition also features a map of the area painted on the wall with the Eastbourne Sketchbook Club and drawings by the Home Ed and Networx groups used as wallpaper. Throughout the run, visitors are invited to add to the exhibition.

The Discover, Celebrate, Grow project is delivered by Devonshire Collective, a contemporary arts organisation rooted in Eastbourne's Devonshire Ward. The organisation is funded by an award of £92,396 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund and works with local people who don't normally engage with heritage projects, alongside contemporary artists and local heritage groups.

The exhibition is part of Devonshire Collective's tenth-anniversary year and will run until Saturday, 20 February 2027, at the Devonshire Collective in Eastbourne. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
