History of Bexhill Pubs Volume 3 Launch

On Sunday, 8 November 2026, the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea will host the launch of the final volume in the History of Bexhill Pubs series. • The book covers the town centre and seafront, featuring venues such as the shades bar of the Metropole Hotel and the Picture Playhouse. • It also includes the Sportsman and Harp pubs, the Brickmaker's Alehouse, and the Albatross Club, showcasing the diversity of Bexhill's pub scene. • The last chapter of the book describes the bar facilities at the De La Warr Pavilion over the decades, providing a unique insight into the venue's history.

The event, which runs from 3pm to 4pm, will include short speeches by local personalities, giving attendees a chance to hear about the book and its creation.
