ART SUNDAYS: A FEAST OF BEASTS

On Sunday, 25 October 2026, artists Dawn East and Lauren Burrows will host a creative workshop, Art Sundays: A Feast of Beasts, at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea. This event will run until 27 December, offering a unique opportunity for people of all ages to engage with art and imagination. During the workshop, participants will use clay, light, and shadow to create their own nocturnal gathering, including food, objects, and creatures that come alive after dark.

The workshop takes inspiration from Prem Sahib's _Fox_ (2004), currently on display in the De La Warr Pavilion gallery, and explores the transformation of familiar spaces when different creatures begin to move through them at night. No prior art experience is necessary, and participants can choose to create something to take away, contribute to a shared installation, or simply experiment with the materials.

The Art Sundays workshops, kindly supported by the Isabel Blackman foundation, are free drop-in events that invite people to come alone or with friends and family. For more information and to book, click the button beside this article, which will take you to the De La Warr Pavilion's website.
