You'll get a behind-the-scenes preview of the 2026 vintage and be introduced to the processes and decisions behind our award-winning wines. Be guided through a special wine tasting and enjoy a three-course lunch paired with our wines. Our Winemaker's Harvest Lunch is the ideal event for anyone with a keen interest in the winemaking process, and how decisions made in the winery and cellar translate into the glass. This annual event is a truly special date in our calendar, offering a very different experience from our classic Estate Tour. Guided by our winemaker, you’ll step behind the scenes at Gusbourne, enjoying rare access to the winery. Here, amongst tanks and barrels, you'll learn about the craft and decision-making behind our wines. You’ll also be among the first to taste the 2026 vintage in its infancy. Just two months after harvest, you'll already be able to see how these young wines develop into our vintage sparkling. Returning to the Hide, you’ll then enjoy the finished article: a selection of mature vintage sparkling wines chosen by our winemaking team to demonstrate the depth and breadth of the Gusbourne range. This guided tasting will help bring to life the insights from your winery visit. You'll then relax into a seasonal three-course lunch, created by Head Chef Anthony Coppard. His menu has been created to celebrate autumn’s finest ingredients, from earthy mushrooms and halibut to pears poached in Gusbourne wine.
