Film archivist and author Jenny Hammerton introduces a golden-era Hollywood classic, paired with the star’s favourite cocktail or drink. A divine way to spend an afternoon. Vincent Price gives a deliciously theatrical performance in this gleefully macabre British black comedy. Price is Edward Lionheart, a Shakespearean actor spurned by London’s theatre critics, who plots an elaborate revenge, dispatching his detractors in grisly scenes inspired by the Bard’s plays.
