The Allergies - Live

The Allergies are Bristol’s funk, soul and hip-hop specialists, built around turntablists DJ Moneyshot and Rackabeat. Their sample-heavy, breakbeat-driven sound combines vintage grooves with heavyweight beats, drawing influence from hip-hop, disco, soul and funk. Since their debut in 2016, they have earned multiple BBC Radio 6 Music ‘Album of the Day’ accolades, A-list radio support and Mixmag ‘Tune of the Month’ awards, while their records have appeared in the UK Top 40. Their full live band expands the duo with LA rapper Andy Cooper (Ugly Duckling), vocalist Marietta Smith and saxophonist James Morton, creating an energetic festival-ready live show.
