Reflective Hands Presents: Samana

Rebecca Rose Harris and Franklin Mockett, of Samana, spent two years rebuilding a Georgian farmhouse in the Welsh countryside. In 2020, they embarked on a three-week residency in France, but due to the impending lockdown, they decided to stay and continue working. This decision led to the creation of their second full-length album, 'All One Breath', which follows their 2019 album 'Ascension'. The album is a reflection of their musical journey, blending various styles and influences, including progressive folk, soul, blues, and rock. The duo's work was guided by the limitations of the instruments and tape machine they had with them, and they allowed the environment to shape their music. 'All One Breath' is an archipelago of sound, with each song having its own narrative and pulse.
