Margate Radio takes over both floors of Where Else? for their Christmas event, featuring DJs from the station playing an eclectic mix of music. There will also be a special live performance from Pigeon, a 5-piece group who blend Afro-disco, grunge, no wave, and jazz. The group consists of Guinean singer Falle Nioke, Graham Godfrey on drums, Steve Pringle on keys, Tom Dream on guitar, and Josh Ludlow on bass. Falle Nioke has recently gained attention with EPs supported by indie radio and BBC 6 Music playlisters. The rest of the group has a strong musical pedigree, with veteran musicians Steve Pringle and Graham Godfrey being key members of Michael Kiwanuka’s band, and Tom Dream and Josh Ludlow being electronic artists in their own right.
