Mara Simpson, Hughie Gavin, Institute Collective

Mara Simpson is curating a series of shows to mark her next release, which is premiering as an installation at the ICA in London. The project follows the theme of 'Unravel, Reweave' and Mara will be touring and collaborating with neo-classical and experimental composers. At Where Else?, she will be sharing the stage with local composer and vocal director Hughie Gavin alongside his vocal ensemble Institute Collective. They will be performing music from the upcoming album ‘Seaward Part 1’. Mara Simpson’s recent performance was at the Barbican, and Institute Collective have just finished recording the soundtrack to the upcoming season of HBO’s True Detective.
