Make Friends

Make Friends are a Bristol-based band who formed after being inspired by the indie-dance-punk of Foals and the melodic alt-pop of Bombay Bicycle Club. They bring a fresh take on modern indie music, with their debut EP forging a fan favourite in 'Ellie', followed by a string of singles and a second EP in 2021. Much of their work was written during lockdown, which led to lyrics tackling themes of isolation and mental health. The band has seen strong support from BBC Introducing in the West, with singles like 'Falter' and 'Fever' receiving Radio 1 Airplay. They have also worked with Ed Nash of Bombay Bicycle Club as producer and co-writer, solidifying their presence in the UK Indie scene. Make Friends are supported by Polo Lounge, an indie rock band from Southeast Kent known for their infectious guitar hooks and high-energy live shows.
