Leftfield: DJ

Leftfield - one of the defining acts in British electronic music, formed by Neil Barnes and Paul Daley in 1989. Their landmark 1995 debut, Leftism, fused house, techno, dub, reggae and rock into a groundbreaking album that helped bring underground dance music into the mainstream. Nominated for the Mercury Prize, Leftism spawned classics including ‘Open Up’ with John Lydon and ‘Release the Pressure’, while the duo won the 1996 BRIT Award for Best Dance Act. After splitting in 2002, Barnes revived Leftfield in 2010 and continues to lead the project today. He is also an acclaimed DJ, regularly performing eclectic house and techno sets worldwide and we cannot wait for him to come and perform at The Forum in June 2027.
