General Levy

General Levy is one of the most recognisable voices in UK jungle, drum & bass and ragga, bringing a distinctive, rapid-fire MC style shaped by Jamaican dancehall and British soundsystem culture. His defining moment came in 1994 with M-Beat’s “Incredible”, a landmark jungle anthem that reached No.8 in the UK Singles Chart and helped push the genre into the mainstream. Despite controversy surrounding the track and comments attributed to him in the press, Levy continued to build a career across reggae, jungle and drum & bass. “Incredible” has endured for generations, featuring in Ali G Indahouse and remaining a staple of jungle sets.
