Finding Your Voice w/ Paul Camo and Margate Radio

Continuing the legacy of DIY movements, this workshop explores the medium of radio and its importance in DIY music scenes. It will cover the history of DIY independent online radio, using radio to tell your story and find your audience, and producing a live show broadcast. The workshop will be led by Paul Camo, founder and director of Margate Radio, with support from other team members. Participants are asked to bring their favourite tracks on USBs. Margate Radio is a volunteer-run, independent internet radio station that celebrates and connects the Margate community. The workshop will also touch on planning and delivering a broadcast, and what to tell the world through the power of your own voice and music.
