Bletchley Park

Bletchley Park is a significant site in Britain's history, having been the location where some of the UK's finest minds cracked German intelligence codes during World War II. The site is now a visitor attraction, featuring several dedicated museums, including the National Museum of Computing, which showcases the history of computers, and the National Radio Centre, which recounts the history of radio transmissions. Visitors can explore recreated sets of how people lived during World War II, learn about Alan Turing and the Enigma machine, and discover the role pigeons played in the war effort. The park is open daily from 9am to 4pm during winter and until 5pm in the summer months, attracting over 250,000 visitors each year. Tickets are valid for the full year, allowing visitors to break up their tour into chunks and return another time.
