Baby Dave (Isaac from Soft Play) - Annual New Years Eve party

Baby Dave is the solo project of Isaac Holman, best known as the drummer and vocalist of Tunbridge Wells punk duo SOFT PLAY. A world away from the visceral punk of his main band, Baby Dave explores wonky pop, lo-fi indie, hip-hop and understated songwriting, with a uniquely British sense of humour and everyday observation. His debut album, Monkey Brain (2022), featured contributions from Damon Albarn, while Different Gravy followed in 2023, including a collaboration with Kate Nash. SOFT PLAY, formerly known as Slaves, have released four Top 10 albums, including Heavy Jelly, their first album under the new name.
