Avalanche Kaito is a band that combines the ancestral griot tradition with multiform approaches, creating an explosive combination of grrriot_punk_noise music. The band consists of Burkinabe singer Kaito Winse, drummer and pure dataist Benjamin Chaval, and anarcho-guitarist Nico Gitto. They were noticed from their first concerts in Belgium in July 2021 and have since performed in several European countries and Canada, releasing their first EP and album on Glitterbeat in 2022. The band has generated a word-of-mouth movement, receiving attention from professionals and audiences alike, and has been commissioned by the Grammy to make a live video. Their music combines seductive trance power with a wicked experimental side, making them a unique project in the musical landscape.
