An Evening in Laurel Canyon

Laurel Canyon was a community of musicians in the 1960s and 70s, home to artists like Neil Young, James Taylor, and Joni Mitchell. This concert features a live 6-piece band performing music from these artists, as well as Carole King's 1971 album Tapestry in its entirety. Tapestry is a statement of togetherness, love, feminism, and hope for the future, and it sums up the counterculture of the Laurel Canyon community. The event will take place in the Komedia Basement with unreserved cabaret seating, and is open to ages 14 and up.
