Michael Akadiri: Don’t Call Me Uncle!

Multi-award-winning comedian Michael Akadiri is proud to wear many hats: doctor, husband & father. However, he was recently called uncle in public, a term usually reserved for elders, which has sent him spiralling! Join Akadiri as he fights this allegation, contemplates the difference between perception and reality, and keeps the laughs flowing with his sharp-wit and politically punchy anecdotes. As seen on Comedy Central LIVE, ITVs Stand Up Sketch & Channel 4’s Stand Up to Cancer, Akadiri has also been a tour support for Jason Manford & Emmanuel Sonubi, and has won several awards including the Komedia New Comedy Award and Comedian of Medicine Award.
