A Celebration of The Clash: 50 Years of the Debut Album The Clash

Death Or Glory will be celebrating The Clash and playing the legendary debut album of The Clash in full, as well as all of the other classics. The Clash were one of the most influential punk bands to come out of Britain in the late 1970s, mixing fast, energetic music with lyrics that explored politics, social issues, and everyday life. Their sound stood out because they blended punk with styles like reggae and rock, helping them reach a wide audience. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1977, captured the raw energy of the punk movement. Songs such as "White Riot" and "London's Burning" reflected the frustration and rebellion felt by many young people at the time, making the album an important part of British music history. Death or Glory – A celebration of The Clash have just one aim; to keep the music, spirit and message of The Clash alive and in music venues for All the Young Punks (and not-so-young) to experience a show as close to the real thing as possible.
