OMFG THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING. Sorry but I adored this film! Be aware: It is a biopic, do not go into this expecting something different. So yes, it has pacing issues and is a little long but that can't really be helped. But those issues are nothing compared to how slamming this movie is. I've seen it twice already, it's been out in Australia for 2 weeks. In saying that I recommend a second viewing lets you pick up lots of little elements you may…

Hardy was a master at playing two characters. I'm not really a fan of gangster movies, but I really enjoyed this one. I do recommend this movie to any Tom Hardy fan.

Tom Hardy had 35 shooting days in which he played both brothers on the same day. He would film the scenes with the brother who had the most dialogue first, then go back into hair and make-up to be transformed into the other brother.

This movie starts out strong but about 45 minutes in falls flat. The dialog between the Kray brothers (Hardy and himself) is the best, but at a certain point, you just start asking yourself, "what's the point? Where is this going?" Then it falls into a typical "my beloved committed suicide for what I have become" cliché.

Would have loved to have given this a better rating, unfortunately I found the story itself to be pretty basic and not a lot really happened when I look back on it. Luckily Tom Hardy does such an incredible job here that it makes it a watchable film, I think without him it really would have fallen flat. Can't deny that Emily Browning did a decent job too. - 7/10

A British master movie based on true events. Tom Hardy plays both Kray twins. While his Reggie is flawless, his performance as Ron is at times overplayed for my taste. Nonetheless, together with the performance by the lovely Emilie Browning, the movie is excellent. Good entertainment, good acting, good plot. I recommend.
