Classic Paddington Episodes Hit the Big Screen

Are you ready to revisit the delightful world of Paddington Bear? The Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater in Greenhithe is hosting a series of screenings featuring eight winter-themed episodes, including The Cold Snap and Paddington and the Christmas Shopping. These episodes are based on the internationally acclaimed books by Michael Bond and have been restored and re-mastered in high definition for the first time.

The film features the voice talents of Michael Hordern and is directed by Ivor Wood, with a runtime of 328 minutes. The episodes follow the adventures of Paddington, a stow-away from darkest Peru who finds himself alone in Paddington Station before being taken in by the Brown family. With his characteristic blue duffle coat and oversized hat, Paddington often gets into hilariously sticky situations.

The screenings will take place from Friday, 6 November 2026 to Friday, 20 November 2026 at the Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater in Greenhithe. Tickets are with the button beside the article. This is a great chance to experience the classic Paddington episodes in a new way, with the high-definition restoration bringing the beloved character to life on the big screen.
