Butchered the classic myths. Failed at being woke propaganda (which it attempted in a very hamfisted way). Really needed more time in the oven and a few rewrites by people actually skilled. The performance was solid though. Can't say I recommend this to really anyone. Kinda a waste of time.

I fucking love the musical. I really love the portrayal and inclusivity of Patrick Page's injury it adds a lot to Hades as a character. I am a sucker for Greek mythology so I really loved this. Amber and Patrick excellent as always and Eva too. Reeves for me was kind of okay I prefer a few other cast over Reeves but so fucking solid for a musical.

Ten Completely Full Stars (twice) Emetophobia Caution
because there's a line that mentions tu\* in the lyrics for " If It's True" but not in relation to v\* and Persephone appears to be incredibly drunk during "Our Lady of the Underground" but nothing happens.
There's also a flashing warning around the 1h 27m mark. Roll on June 2027 for the UK Tour.

Strong start, then troublesome pacing in the middle and "the most beautiful song" that didn't really work for me are the problems that I had with the musical itself which is in all other parts great. Otherwise, I found Brett Sullivan's work great in bringing this production on the TV/cinema screen.
