One of my favourite films of all time! Robin Williams is perfection in being the little boy who has been stranded in the jungle for years. The perfect mix of action and adventure, with added comedy!

_8 - Great_ I'd say this is quite a weird movie and if it wasn't for Robin Williams I wouldn't like it that much but thankfully he's in this movie.

Maybe the special effects have aged a bit, in the end they are far from today's CGI, but Williams and the young Dunst are looking good. Jumanji is a classic of the 90's adventure cinema.

Not everything works, like the ending for one. The reviews aren’t as good as they should be though, by critics. Since they found it too scary for kids. Which was a poor excuse not to like it. The newer movies have better reviews but this one has more imagination. The sequels/reboot are just good for laughs.

I must have seen this at least a dozen times on TV but I don't ever recall seeing the very beginning and end. So a full rewatch before the new movie coming out was necessary. I still like Robin Williams a lot. He is they best part of this movie. Some of the effects look pretty good for 1995 while some seem pretty dated. Overall a great kids movie and one I always will remember from my childhood.
