Team Domenica was founded in 2016 by Baroness Monckton, who was inspired by her youngest daughter, Domenica, who has Down Syndrome. The charity is dedicated to supporting young people with learning disabilities and autism in the workplace, and its programmes have already shown impressive results, with 84% of candidates finding work through its Supported Internship Programme.

The fundraising event will take place on Thursday, 5 November 2026, at North Star Brighton, Brighton. Tickets are available with the button beside this article. By supporting Team Domenica, you can help fund specialist training and employment programmes that make a real difference in the lives of young adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Team Domenica's programmes are designed to provide young people with the skills and confidence they need to move into paid work, and its supporters can make a donation, give their time, or take on a challenge to help fundraise. The charity's work is making a significant impact, with 94% of young people sustaining their roles for one year or more, and it has been graded 'strong' for Inclusion and Participation and Development in its first Ofsted report.
