this film evokes a simple but beautiful message, even with such a heavy subject for the matter, it becomes very clear that this is not a film about suffering, is a film about hope, a film that invites you to join the protagonist through a journey of healing and self discovery, and that's what makes this film special, because not matter what you going trough, there's always a light awaiting for you at the end of the tunnel.

The story of an immature adult who has problems with herself, her sexuality and her relationships. She is sexually assaulted but recognises that she is in part to blame and is unable to cope with that situation. She just seems too weak to cope with the realities of life, namely the fact that life is sometimes hard and that one has to let go and get over the sh*t that happens. She needs to move on, but can’t and she does not seem to accept the…

I went into this movie relatively blind outside of knowing it had received great reviews. The movie doesn't open chronologically, and the initial chapter was a bit of a struggle for me. The deadpan and weird humor didn't exactly land, and it wasn't exactly clear where the movie was headed. There was a sense of unease throughout, and once the movie shifted to its second chapter, things started to click into place. The movie is very effective at…

"When you grow up, you can tell me whatever. Like, if you have a thought, and you're like 'that's a bad thought', I probably had that same thought but, like, ten times worse. So you can just tell me, I'll never be scared by that. If someone does something bad to you. If someone says something scary. If you wanna kill yourself, like with a pencil or a knife or whatever, you can just tell me. I'll never tell you you're scaring me. I'll just say,…

"No... I know it's bad. But mainly because whenever I tell anyone about it, they look really scared for me... And I can feel, in my body, that it was really bad. But then sometimes I don't think about it... And I feel guilty when I don't think about it." Body and memory fragmented, frozen. How can I Know anything if I don't know my body? Pulling another body close. Any body, just to feel safe. "No, no, it's just I, um, I haven't looked at my…
