Brighton Kiss

Kiss's album Rock and Roll Over, released in 1976, showcased the band's ability to craft hits like Hard Luck Woman and Calling Dr. Love, and its 50th anniversary remix is set to be released in November 2026.

The band's origins date back to 1973 in New York City, where Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss formed Kiss, building on the roots of Simmons and Stanley's earlier band Wicked Lester. Their first show was at the Popcorn Club in Queens, and from there, they went on to become one of America's biggest bands, known for their face paint, costumes, and fiery stage shows.

The Alternative Revenge - The Studio Takes - 1990-1992 is a 21-track double vinyl collection that unearths the crucial transitional phase between 1990 and 1992, featuring early studio-quality tracking sessions, instrumental run-throughs, and high-profile compositions that ultimately missed the final tracklist. This collection is essential for die-hard members of the Kiss Army, as it lifts the mixing-desk veil on the writing process of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley alongside guitarist Bruce Kulick and late drummer Eric Carr.

On Friday, 13 November 2026, fans can experience the raw, heavy sound of Kiss at Resident Music in Brighton. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
