MTS From The Top

A decades-long career as a producer and singer has not prepared Billy Sharpe for the visit from his old friend and co-worker, Jesse, which forces him to confront his own toxic behavior. This student-written adaptation of A Christmas Carol, written and directed by Lila Wessecker and Leonardo Vazquez, offers a fresh perspective on the classic tale. The story follows Billy as he navigates his past, present, and future, coming face to face with the person he once was and the person he has become.

The production raises important questions about personal responsibility and the possibility of change, as Billy is given the chance to choose a different path and avoid the mistakes of his past. With its thought-provoking themes and unique twist on a classic story, MTS: From the Top is an event worth attending.

The event will take place on Friday, 27 November 2026, and Saturday, 28 November 2026, at the Gulbenkian Arts Centre in Canterbury. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
