Dull Knife's music is a fusion of Delta blues, 60s garage psychedelia, and outlaw country, with a grunge-tinged distortion that sets them apart from other bands. The two-piece band, consisting of George Woosey and Jack Greenwood, met through their involvement with the 60s psych band The Pretty Things, and they have been making music together since 2013.

The band's repertoire is rooted in their shared interest in blues and country music, with most of their songs written on the road in hotel rooms and in Jack's living room. Their debut album, Light Is the Night Dark Is the Day, was released in 2017 to critical acclaim, and they have since played shows in Europe, including a Bavarian tour and a performance in Paris.
