Gardening for a wilder future is the focus of Seedy Sunday, where Alys Fowler and Kate Bradbury will be in conversation about creating spaces that benefit both people and nature. Alys Fowler is a gardener and journalist who has written about gardening and the environment for the weekend Guardian, while Kate Bradbury is a writer specialising in wildlife gardening and author of several books.
The event, taking place on Sunday, 7 February 2027, at the Brighton Dome in Brighton, is part of Seedy Sunday, the city's biggest gardening event and the UK's longest-running community seed swap. At the heart of the event is a huge seed swap table where visitors can donate and swap heritage and local seeds.
Seedy Sunday has been organised by the Brighton and Hove Food Partnership for 20 years, with entry to the event available by donation on the day. Tickets for the talks, including the conversation with Alys Fowler and Kate Bradbury, are with the button beside the article.
