Artists' Films at Towner Eastbourne
A unique screening event featuring four artists' films, followed by a conversation with Sadia Pineda Hameed. The event showcases a diverse range of films, each exploring different themes and stories.
Are you interested in exploring the work of innovative artists who use film to tell unique stories? On Tuesday, 10 November 2026, the Towner in Eastbourne will host a screening of four artists' films, including Sadia Pineda Hameed's 'Anak Where Did We Stay?', Ilona Sagar's 'Other Actors', Rhea Storr's 'Okay Keskidee! Let Me See Inside', and Alia Syed's 'The Dhaba - 1st Chapter: Mr Sharif and 2nd Chapter: Mr Bhari'.
These films are part of the 2026 Jarman Award Artist Film Programme, which recognises and supports artists working with the moving image. Each film brings a distinct perspective, from the story of migration in 'Anak Where Did We Stay?' to the exploration of health and architecture in 'Other Actors'.
The event will feature a screening of these films, followed by an in-conversation with Sadia Pineda Hameed. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
