Brighton's Magical Nutcracker Experience

The Nutcracker is a festive family favourite that will transport you to a world of wonder and magic. At a cosy Christmas party, young Clara meets the mysterious magician Drosselmeyer, who gives her a nutcracker doll, sparking a series of extraordinary events. As the night unfolds, Clara finds herself in a fantastical landscape of flurried snow and glittering confection where toys come alive.

Peter Wright's production of The Nutcracker is a masterclass in storytelling, with a swell of Tchaikovsky's orchestral score that will leave you spellbound. The period designs by Julia Trevelyan Oman add to the grandeur and glow of the production, making it a truly immersive experience.

The Nutcracker will be showing at the Duke of York's Picturehouse in Brighton from Wednesday, 4 November 2026, until Sunday, 3 January 2027. Tickets are with the button beside the article, so be sure to secure your spot for this magical adventure.
