Doom metal, with its heavy riffs and dark atmosphere, is the foundation of Witchrot's sound, but they also incorporate elements of sludge, psychedelia and shoegaze, making their music more complex and interesting. • Witchrot's debut studio album Hollow was released in 2021, followed by the live album Live in the Hammer in 2023, which showcased the band's ability to perform their heavy, fuzzed-out sound in a live setting. • The band's second studio album, Soul Cellar, was released in 2025 through Fuzzed and Buzzed Records and Majestic Mountain Records, and features a mix of heavy riffs and haunting vocal melodies. • Witchrot's sound is led by vocalist Lea Alyssandra Reto's smoky, expressive vocals, which add a unique dimension to the band's music, and their latest single Sacrificer, released in April 2026, is their first new material since the Soul Cellar album.

Witchrot will be performing at Daltons in Brighton on Tuesday, 3 November 2026, and tickets are with the button beside the article. The band's blend of fuzzy doom, sludge, psychedelia and shoegaze, combined with Lea Alyssandra Reto's powerful vocals, makes them a compelling live act, and their upcoming show in Brighton is sure to be a highlight of the metal music scene.
