Boosting Young Minds

Children will engage in a comprehensive programme of study, covering English reading, spelling, punctuation, and grammar, as well as maths and verbal and non-verbal reasoning, all tailored to prepare them for the Kent Test 11+ examination. The small group setting ensures an inclusive and supportive environment, where pupils can feel comfortable and motivated to learn. As they progress, they will be introduced to test technique and apply their knowledge in timed conditions, helping them build confidence and develop essential skills for the exam.

The programme also places a strong emphasis on teaching meta-cognitive skills, which will enable children to develop resilience and take individual responsibility for their learning and progress. This holistic approach recognizes that success in the 11+ exam is not just about academic knowledge, but also about having the skills and mindset to tackle challenges and overcome obstacles. By focusing on both academic support and personal development, the tuition group aims to provide children with a strong foundation for future success.

The 11+ Group Tuition is specifically designed for children aged 9-11 (Year 5), making it an ideal opportunity for parents to provide their child with targeted support and guidance during this critical period. The programme's engaging and interactive approach is designed to keep children motivated and enthusiastic about learning, helping them to stay focused and committed to their goals.

The tuition group will take place on Sunday, 8 November 2026, at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable. Tickets are with the button beside the article. With its unique blend of academic support and personal development, this tuition group is an excellent way to help children prepare for the 11+ exam and develop essential skills for future success.
