Farleys House & Gallery (Lewes)

On Tuesday, 3 November 2026, the Aviary Gallery at Farleys House & Gallery in Lewes will open, showcasing the work of artist Nic Acaster until Thursday, 5 November 2026.

• The gallery features Nic's art project called Walk The Plank, which showcases her repurposing of a decommissioned Hastings fishing boat into art. • Visitors can view a collection of original sculpture, jewellery, paintings, stained glass, cards, and gifts, all made in residence by Nic and silversmith Jo Kirby. • The Micro Sculpture Garden is a peaceful tranquil spot to experience art, bird song, and pond life, making it a unique aspect of the gallery.

The Aviary Gallery is an artist-led gallery and workshop space founded by Nic Acaster in 2022, and this event is a great opportunity to see her work up close. Tickets are with the button beside the article. With Nic's extensive experience in running her own studio in Sussex and her background in traditional boatbuilding techniques, this event is worth visiting to see her unique artwork and the beautiful Micro Sculpture Garden.
