Brighton Dome hosts The Shires
The Shires are set to perform at Brighton Dome as part of their first full band UK tour in four years, featuring fan favourites and new songs from their latest album, Bonfire. With a reputation as pioneers of British country music, the duo is expected to deliver an exciting show.
The Shires' new album, Bonfire, celebrates togetherness, escapism, and positivity, and features a more instinctive and fresh sound. The duo, consisting of Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes, formed in 2013 after meeting online, and have since become one of the most successful British country acts.
Their music is a unique blend of country and contemporary sounds, with catchy melodies and harmonies. The lead single from Bonfire, Getaway Car, showcases this sound, with a thumping kick drum and upbeat acoustic guitar driving the song to an instant, air-punching chorus.
The Shires will perform at Brighton Dome on Thursday, 12 November 2026. Tickets are with the button beside the article. With a discography that includes debut album Brave, follow-up My Universe, and later records such as Good Years and 10 Year Plan, the duo has maintained an enviable reputation at the forefront of the British country music genre.
