Scummy Mummies Bring Laughter

The Scummy Mummies originated from their experiences as mothers, using their own lives as material for their comedic take on parenting. Their background in comedy has allowed them to craft a show that is both humorous and honest, tackling the ups and downs of raising children.

Their Christmas show, taking place on Wednesday, 16 December 2026, at the Gulbenkian Arts Centre in Canterbury, is a comedy extravaganza featuring scummy carols, yuletide sketches, and festive stand-up. The show also includes very scummy Santa stories, adding to the comedic chaos. With an age guidance of 18+ due to adult content and swearing, this is an event tailored for adults looking for a lighthearted, entertaining evening.

The Scummy Mummies' show is designed to make the audience feel normal about their parenting skills, or perhaps very smug about being child-free. By using humor to address the challenges of parenting, they create a relatable and entertaining experience. This approach has likely contributed to their appeal, as they bring laughter and camaraderie to their audience.
