It wasn't extraordinary, trashy music, obvious plot, at times bad acting (Diaz especially)... but I'm a sucker for cheesy, overly romantic happy ends.

I liked this movie a whole helluva lot more than I thought I would. I had a really great time. I will say the only thing I agree with the general consensus is that Cameron Diaz is waaaaay out of her element in this movie.

Aww, that was really stinkin’ cute! Annie really was a true ray of sunshine, and the way Stacks looked at her was so full of love! It was all very sweet.

I first watched this when it originally came out and I'm really surprised that it held up so well! This was such a delight. I loved the modern music, Jamie Foxx has great comedic timing ... Cameron Diaz was awful. Lol. I laughed a ton and cried, and what more could you ask for from a family flick? This gets added to my cozy movies for sure.

Watched straight after the 1982 version (first time Annie viewer) and absolutely loved it. From "Who's George Clooney?" to the Batman references it's a really great update/refresh. Excellent cast are superb. Favourite line (amongst so many) has to be "People love musicals, bursting into song for no apparent reason. It's magical." Love Cameron Diaz!
